The Question We Hear Most

The number one question we get at King’s Camp is “What do you need?” The second one is like it “How can we help?” We have plenty of dreams, hopes and needs for these grounds.

• A walking prayer path around the whole lake where people can quiet their hearts long enough to hear the voice of God.

• A concrete back porch on the lakeside of the Tin Top dining hall with rockers and seating for our adult retreats to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets in the south.

• The Ropes Course needs updating and that gets expensive. Our course is unique in that we have this beautiful lake right beside it, and we want to incorporate the lake and our beautiful cypress trees for a canopy walk. Something for the young and old.

• Our large dormitory is aging and doesn’t always fit the needs of those who visit our grounds. We dream of separate cabins that could be placed around the lake connected by the walking path.

These hopes and dreams don’t include the ongoing cost of maintaining our 200-acre campus including eight buildings and other property…utilities, maintenance, insurance, and more. Monthly maintenance is significant.
